Hi everyone, my name is Michelle, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during the most difficult time in our lives.
I’ve created this fundraiser for my mom, Marlyn. She’s not only the heart of our family, but also our sole provider. A few days ago, she was found unconscious in the locker room at work. We’re incredibly thankful a co-worker found her when they did — but we still don’t know how long she had been unconscious before help arrived.
She was rushed to the emergency room and later transferred to the Neuro ICU, where doctors confirmed that she suffered a massive brain hemorrhage. She has since undergone two critical surgeries — including the removal of a bone flap and drainage of blood from her brain. Hearing all of this felt like our world suddenly stopped.
Since then, my younger brother and I have been by her side 24/7 in the hospital. As much as we want to continue working, we simply can’t — our full focus is on her recovery. But as many of us know, bills don’t stop for emergencies.
We’re humbly asking for any help you can offer. Your donations will go directly towards her medical expenses and ongoing post-surgery care. More than anything, we just want our mom to have the best chance at healing and coming back home to us.
