We are going through an extremely illegal eviction with our landlord. We can’t live like this, Our door has just got kicked in by two of our landlord’s friends while being threatened with violence. I have no bedroom door we cant even close our door anymore and no way protect ourselves. We can’t just leave on our own dime since the landlord has performed illegal lockouts whenever I find a new job which in turn result in the loss of that job. Our funds have been completely drained.
My wife and I have been walking around every night for 5 days now and she now has blisters so bad on the bottom of her feet she can barely walk on her own at the moment. We haven’t been able to get any sleep or are able to go home for fear of the dangers that may await my family.
In addition to this willful conduct caused by my landlord we are living in completely unlivable conditions bed bugs, no water supply lines in the bathroom, a barricaded shower, refusing to fix the broken stairs I could go on and on with the list of intentional ways my landlord has made this place uninhabitable. We need some help with some money to be able to afford a cheap motel room so my wife’s feet can heal and we can find an alternative place to live. I need my wife to be able to get some sleep and feel safe again.
