Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We are a loving family of five facing an incredibly difficult time. Despite paying our rent each month, we are now at risk of eviction due to back rent that built up during a hard season. A past court order requires us to pay that balance, and unfortunately, we’ve fallen behind—putting us at risk of losing our home.
Our family includes three beautiful children, ages 17, 4, and 2. One of our little ones is on the autism spectrum, and my husband is currently undergoing dialysis, which has made this season even more overwhelming. I’ve reached out to every resource and organization I could find in Rhode Island, but unfortunately, help for back rent is limited.
We are doing everything we can, but we’ve hit a wall—and I’m turning to this community with an open heart and hopeful spirit. Anything you can give will go directly toward keeping a roof over our heads and avoiding the trauma of displacement.
Please help us stay safe, stable, and together. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
