Last night in Lakeside, VA, my car was broken into by busting the back window out, then hot-wired and stolen. Eventually, after 200+ miles of joyriding and other extracurricular activities, it was wrecked. The suspect(s) are still on the run. As for me, my life has been turned upside down.
My car is a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and I literally just took it off full coverage last year as it was over the 10-year mark, and it didn’t make sense to keep it (huge mistake)! So, my insurance will not cover $.01 of the damage. Let me say, I loved this car and it has been a lifesaver for the last 8 years. But now, I have no idea what I’m going to do…
So now, going against my conscious and every fiber of my being, I am asking for help. I don’t have any resources or family to help me out, so here I am asking if any strangers and friends can find it in their hearts to help me out with anything they can.
