On Tuesday, June 10th, our beloved Steven Vallery experienced a sudden and life-threatening medical emergency. While at work, he began to feel unwell. Thanks to the quick actions of his co-workers, paramedics were called, and Steven was rushed to the hospital. There, doctors discovered a ruptured acute brain bleed connected to a prior aneurysm surgery he underwent in 2013. Further testing revealed a second aneurysm that had developed near the original surgical site.
Steven was immediately transferred to a trauma center, where he underwent an extensive and complex 8-hour brain surgery. The procedure was successful, but Steven remains in critical condition. Despite this, he is showing promising signs of progress. He’s a fighter, and we are holding onto hope, faith, and God’s healing power.
We’re launching this fundraiser to help cover the significant and growing expenses related to Steven’s recovery. This includes medical bills, ongoing hospital care, and rehabilitation needs, as well as daily necessities like meals, transportation, and lodging for family members who are staying by his side. His wife and loved ones have been with him every step of the way, and your support will help ease their burden as they focus on his healing.
Steven has always been strong for others — now it’s our turn to be strong for him. If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help us rally around Steven and his family. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to helping him and his family navigate the road to recovery.
Daily status updates will be posted both here and on Steven’s CaringBridge page for anyone who wants to follow along with his journey toward healing.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and love.
