We have created this fundraiser to support our dear friend Sean during this incredibly difficult time. While Sean may have been reluctant to ask for help, we know how overwhelming the financial burden of cancer treatment can be, and we are humbly asking for your help.
Sean was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer and is currently at Maine Medical Center. The oncologists and specialists are working together to create a treatment plan which will include chemotherapy. Sean is currently uninsured and will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. This journey is going to be challenging for Sean, and we want him to only focus on his recovery while he starts his battle against cancer.
Although this diagnosis is incredibly devastating and fresh, we want to be able to support Sean as much as possible and keep his contagious laugh spreading across the hospital.
For those of you that do not know Sean, he is one of the most selfless humans to ever cross this earth. His heart is so big and has always been focused on others and how he might meet their needs. If there has ever been a time to give back to someone who has given us all courage and hope, that time is now!
There’s nothing more important than being there for your friend during times like this. There is no such thing as a donation too small. Thank you for helping us support our friend that we care deeply about, and for standing with Sean in his fight.
