We are requesting donations to support the family of 8 that was recently affected by a mobile home fire in Driftside Neighborhood Mobile Home Park. On Sunday, June 15th, the family woke up to their home being on fire. Thankfully, everyone was evacuated, but the family lost everything but the clothes on their backs. The family consists of five children and three young adults, including an aunt who is currently six months pregnant.
They are currently staying in a hotel, with two nights covered by the Red Cross. At this moment, their most urgent need is finding safe and stable housing for the entire family. The mobile home park where their trailer caught on fire is also requesting that they remove the burned trailer ASAP. The family is requesting support with covering the expenses of removing the mobile home, as well as their other urgent financial needs.
The family has given consent for this fundraiser to be made, but have requested the privacy of their names not being shared.
