Hello my name is Sheila Matanza and my family’s home caught fire yesterday afternoon. The home is still standing but the fire spread through the attic. The entire back patio is gone and ceiling is caved in through garage, kitchen, living, and dining room. All bedrooms had holes in ceiling and roof. Whole house suffered severe smoke and water damage and is now unlivable.
For now my family’s staying in a hotel through the end of the month. We will need to find a new home and refurnish. The good part is that everyone and our pets made it out safely.
