My dear friend, Martina, was told this past week that the stage 3 breast cancer she had beaten back in May of 2023 came back and has spread to her liver, lungs, and bones.
She went to the doctor for debilitating knee pain on Wednesday, was told her hip was cracked, and received a hip replacement on Thursday. Then, she was told the news about the cancer coming back. Her oncology team has given a life expectancy of 1-2 years.
Martina and her husband, Justus, have an 8-month-old baby named Ramona. Ramona is the happiest and most loved baby you will ever meet. Martina’s main concern when battling cancer the first time was being able to have a child in the future, and it has been so magical seeing her become a mother. She is going to do everything in her power to keep fighting so she can continue to watch her daughter grow up.
Donations will not only be helping with medical and living costs but play an important role in keeping everyone’s mental energy focused on healing and spending time together as a family. Any amount is immensely appreciated!
More importantly, keep Martina, Justus, and Ramona in your thoughts. Thank you for every prayer said, every candle lit, and every dollar donated.
