Help Malek’s Family Rebuild Their Life in Gaza After War Devastation
My name is Malek, a 26-year-old living in Gaza with my family of 9. Like countless others, our lives were turned upside down by the recent war. Our home was completely destroyed in the bombing, and we were left with nothing but painful memories buried beneath the rubble.
Today, my family lives in a makeshift tent without shelter, warmth, or stability. My young children sleep on cold ground, often without enough food. My son suffers from a serious heart condition, and we cannot afford the treatment he urgently needs.
Tragedy struck even harder when we lost our father during the war. His love and presence were the foundation of our family, and without him, life has become even more unbearable.
I was also personally injured, hit by a gunshot in the neck during the attacks. This injury left me with a severe disability and a constant need for medical care. My mother is chronically ill with diabetes and requires daily treatment something we can no longer provide on our own.
We are launching this emergency fundraiser to raise $10,000 to help us meet basic needs:
