Hello, I’m Raquel. Jessica Williams Drottar, a colleague and friend, is renowned for her exceptional kindness and warmth. Jessica is a reserved and shy individual who enjoys karaoke and possesses a remarkable singing voice.
Last year, Jessica began experiencing complications due to her pacemaker’s failure, which caused her to feel lethargic, gain weight, and struggle with depression. Initially, her doctors treated her with medication while attempting to diagnose the issue with the device. Following the replacement of the pacemaker, Jessica regained her vitality and health. However, she soon began experiencing pain under her arm, nausea, and fever. Emergency department lab results indicated an infection, but the source could not be pinpointed, leading to treatment for a suspected urinary tract infection. This cycle of symptoms persisted for several months. Eventually, a doctor decided to relocate Jessica’s pacemaker to alleviate her discomfort.
Currently, Jessica is in the ICU in Portland, Maine, battling a severe bacterial infection that has been affecting her heart. A second surgery was scheduled, but due to another fever and bacterial concerns, it cannot proceed as planned. Please consider offering prayers and donations to support Jessica during this challenging time.
