Hi I’m Heather, and I have a 100 year old project house that may or may not fall into the earth…
And it’s going to cost me $10,000 to fix the sinkhole/cistern/gate-to-hell under my house (and god only knows how much to actually make this house livable). Yes in hindsight, I may have made some bad decisions, but in my defense, I am ADHD and it seemed like a good decision at the time and possibly the only way I was ever going to have a place to call “home”.
Now I don’t have $10,000 because who has $10,000? In this economy? I work in non-profit so I certainly don’t!
anyway, some people suggested I start a fundraiser so this is me, starting a fundraiser.
but really, if you have the funds to be able to help make the world a better place, here is a list of non profits I would love to see get your money instead:
CASA/GAL – a non profit organization that provides advocacy for children who have been abused and neglected

AZA – Association of Zoos and Aquariums (conservation)
