Hi, I’m Dan Hearty. My wife and I have worked most of our lives. I’m 72, my wife is 61 and disabled. We’re trying to live on our Social Security and it’s not easy.

Today, it seems like Murphy’s Law is in full effect: if it can go wrong, it will. And today, it did. My wife’s having problems with her teeth, but that’s not the worst thing that happened. Three hours later, our hot water heater went out, and we don’t have the money for either one.

I’ve never asked anyone for help in my life, but today I hit rock bottom. Please help if you can. God bless.
