Hello everyone, my name is Dalton. I’m a West Virginia native who moved to Austin, Texas a few years ago.
Recently, my parents have gone through the tragedy of a flood running through my hometown. This event was very unexpected as my parents do not live near a river or body of water that would have flooding reach this type of level. After my parents spoke with their insurance company, they were informed that nothing will be covered for the damages done from the flood.
As you can see from the pictures, the entire basement was flooded. The two pictures do not do justice in showing how much water got into the house. The other pictures show the severity of the flood in the local area.
My parents are my rock and the people who shaped me into the man I have become today, and this is the least I could do to help them get back to a place of living comfortably again. Any amount would go a long way. I just appreciate you taking the time to hear out my story and appreciate any support that you can give.
