In the early hours of Sunday morning June 15th, Alaina’s beloved facial and laser salon (Sublime) on 12th and Clark in East Vancouver —her pride, joy, and livelihood—was broken into and left in ruins. Thieves not only stole thousands of dollars’ worth of products and equipment, but also intentionally destroyed her very expensive laser and facial machines. These weren’t just tools — they were the result of years of hard work, saving, and dedication to her craft and her clients.
These intruders were calculated. They cut the security cameras and left nothing behind but heartbreak. Alaina now finds herself forced to start over completely, with no equipment, no products, and no means to continue her work.
