Simone Lyke was a daughter, sister, auntie, and a best friend. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could fill a room. She loved animals and spending time with her family and friends. She had big dreams for herself and anyone around her. She’d do anything for anyone just to show her love.
Late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, we received the worst news ever. The way the dog did her left a big hole in the family. She had 3 surgeries and her right arm amputated, but my friend still ended up taking her last breath at 8:26 PM on her birthday, Saturday, July 27. All I’m asking is help with the medical bills and supporting the family so that we can get her home to Chicago where she was born and raised. Yes, we love Texas where she lived for 3 1/2 years, but we need to get her home.
I want to say thank you to anybody who can help. Please take time to listen to her story and say her name: Simone Lyke.
