Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

It is with the heaviest heart that I share the devastating news of my dear nephew, Phin’s sudden passing. Phin was just 19 years old and full of life, laughter, and an incredibly bright future. His unexpected departure has left our family shattered and grappling with an immense void that can never be filled.

Phin was truly a special soul. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and hiking were some of our favorite activities. He had a knack for fixing things and was particularly interested in cars and motorcycles. Phin was older brother to Avery and son to his mother Shannon. This family had recently lost their father and husband. My sister is isolated and alone in this time of grief.

As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we are also faced with the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. Phin’s passing was so sudden that they were wholly unprepared for these costs. We want to give him the respectful and loving farewell he deserves, and any support you can offer would be a tremendous comfort to our family during this incredibly difficult time. Additionally, my sister is still in the living space where Phin passed. Due to financial constraints, she is unable to quickly move into a new apartment or home. The amount of sadness this creates for her unbearable to see, and I am seeking support to get her and Avery into a new apartment.
