This fundraiser is for the benefit of Allen Roberson Sr., who spent an extended period away from work while his son, Allen Jr. was in the hospital, until Allen Jr. passed away on July 1.
Immediately thereafter, Allen Sr. experienced his own medical difficulties requiring hospitalization, resulting in an extended absence from work. For these reasons, the Roberson family has incurred recent unplanned expenses, both medical and burial, combined with a loss of income for a significant period.
To Allen and his family, and on behalf of his friends and coworkers, our hearts go out to the Roberson family for your loss and current difficulties. Though we are aware it is little consolation, this fund raiser was organized to ease your financial burden during this difficult time.
