On July 6th, Tony was involved in a horrific car accident that left him trapped inside the wreckage with critical, life-threatening injuries. In the wake of this tragedy, Tony’s parents have made the impossible choice to put their lives on hold—leaving work, income, and security behind—just to stay by his side every moment, helping him navigate this painful and uncertain road to recovery. But the emotional weight of this trauma is now compounded by a mounting financial burden. The cost of medical care, rehabilitation, and basic daily expenses is overwhelming. Tony’s Story: A Heart of Gold in the Face of Trauma
When the accident occurred, Tony was unconscious—his body pinned inside the crushed vehicle. Bystanders rushed to help, only to find the car door jammed and Tony’s leg and arm trapped in the wreckage. His arm began to lose circulation, turning pale and cold. Despite the chaos, strangers refused to give up on him. They fought to free his limbs, restore blood flow, and give him a fighting chance.
When Tony briefly regained consciousness, his thoughts were not for himself. Disoriented and severely injured, he still asked about others first. He didn’t understand where he was or what had happened—but what he did know was that someone else might need help. Even as paramedics arrived, Tony refused treatment until others had been seen and taken to the hospital ahead of him.
That is the kind of person Tony is—selfless, brave, and endlessly giving. Now, he needs us to give back.

Medical Update
Tony has sustained multiple critical injuries from the accident, including a traumatic brain injury that is impacting his short-term memory, a fractured hip, a broken blood vessel in his neck, fractured ribs, and contusions to his chest and underarm. He also has a grade 2 spleen injury, adding to the complexity of his recovery.
This fundraiser is being set up to support Tony’s parents, who are by his side every single day. The financial burden is already beginning to weigh heavily on them. His mom shared, “We don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to come down here every day… but I have faith that somehow things are going to work out.”
