Mary’s Struggle: Hospitalized & Homeless

My name is Mary. I am praying to God there may be a few people out there that may understand my situation and hopefully be able to help.

I lived in Bellaire Oaks apartments last year until March 2025. I spent the whole year very sick from the mold that was festered in all the walls. Fluid stayed on my right lung for 9 months. I was admitted to the hospital in December 2024 with blood clots in my right lung as well as clots in my left leg. I lost my day job twice during this time. Upon departure of that apartment in March, I have not had a place to live. My car has been my home. My AC has gone out on the car a month ago. I drive doing Uber and Lyft. That’s all I have right now. I have been applying for jobs daily. My health has improved with the blood thinners and other meds. I have no family except for my two grown children who have made it abundantly clear I am a nuisance that they would rather not deal with. I have had to start blood pressure medicine as the heat has been too much. I have a 2012 Nissan Altima. I have no problem letting anyone willing to help verify all of what I have stated and to know specifically where the car will be fixed. I am not trying to take advantage of anyone. I am 51 years old and just praying for cool air to be able to work and sleep in my car. Every day is a step forward. Anyone may contact me at 3466485264.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
