Help My Brother & His Girlfriend Recover After a Devastating Car Accident
I’m reaching out to our community of friends and family to ask for help for two people I love deeply – my brother and his girlfriend – who were both seriously injured in a terrible car accident. They are the kind of people that won’t ever ask for a thing, so I am asking on their behalf.
The accident left my brother with multiple broken bones and a torn ligament in his leg, requiring surgery to repair the damage. His girlfriend suffered a severe compound fracture in her arm and had to be medevaced from the hospital they were initially rushed to, to another hospital for emergency surgery with a hand specialist in order to save her hand. Thankfully, both of their surgeries were successful, but their road to recovery will be long and challenging. She will need at least one more surgery in the coming weeks.
Right now, my brother is immobile, and his girlfriend has no use of her arm, and they are both in a lot of pain. Neither of them will be able to work for months as they heal.
On top of the emotional and physical pain, they have the added overwhelming financial stress of accumulating medical bills, high copays, and the cost of everyday living – rent, utilities, groceries etc. Nobody ever expects to find themselves in this situation so I am reaching out to help ease some of this stress for them.
I’m asking for your help to take some of the financial burden off their shoulders so they can focus on healing. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping them cover medical expenses, treatments, and living costs during this difficult time.
