My mother was the strongest person I have ever known. She was also the most selfless, caring and beautiful mother my siblings and I could have asked for. My name is Nick Todd and I am writing this today with a heavy heart as my mother, Moe Davis, passed away suddenly yesterday on July 17th, 2025 from a stroke. Unfortunately this stroke was the final tipping point after a long battle that started with breast cancer which then metastasized to the brain. At this point the doctors said she likely wouldn’t make it past a year. In her usual fashion she said f*ck you to that diagnosis and beat that into remission as well. Unfortunately her medical difficulties continued but her fighting spirit always remained. She was the type of person that would be on the hospital bed but still making sure everyone else was doing okay. Her presence was a gift, and everyone she met felt better for having known her. The aforementioned difficulties did not give my mother the chance to worry about life insurance or leaving money aside for her passing. This has of course made it difficult to give her the proper burial and funeral she deserves. For this reason my siblings, father and I wanted to extend a request out to her friends and family who want to help with the costs of her service and burial. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help give her the proper sending off she deserves.
