Bernard Chukwumaeze Ogbenna was a truly remarkable person—funny, charismatic, and always ready with a smile. Even when he didn’t have much, he was known for his kindness and generosity, giving to others and welcoming everyone with open arms. As the chairman of his village, Bernard was a leader who always stood up for what was right, earning the respect and admiration of everyone around him.

Though I last saw my dad in person 11 years ago, his presence has always been felt in my life. Every time he called, he greeted me with a big smile, reminding me of the warmth and love he shared so freely. His playful spirit and unwavering support have left a lasting impact on our family and community.

We are raising funds to help cover the funeral expenses for Bernard. This support will help me and my older brother honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference as we come together to celebrate the life of a man who gave so much to others.
