Our lovely friend, Vera Algoet, is in California helping her son, Jordan, who is in jail and facing a prison sentence. His legal troubles are the result of a vindictive and disturbed ex-girlfriend, who is using the legal system to exact revenge.
As you are well aware, there are many many expenses involved…flights for Vera, lawyers fees etc.
If you feel that you can contribute to Vera’s costs, please do. Vera has been a very positive and engaging presence in our community in so many ways…as well she has always quietly contributed financially to others who were going through a challenging time.
Those of you who know Vera, know that she would never ask for help. She has, fortunately, given me permission to set up this fundraiser account with the help of Christina Penhale.
