Hello, we are raising funds for Saeed and his family in Gaza. Here is his story in his own words:
“My name is Saeed, I’m 25 years old, and I’m writing to you from Gaza, where my family and I are trying to stay strong through incredibly difficult times.
Since the war began, our lives have been turned upside down. Although our home is still standing, we are living under extremely harsh conditions. We face severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine. The ongoing humanitarian blockade has made it nearly impossible to access even the most basic necessities. Every day has become a struggle for survival.
One of the things that brought me the most peace and joy before the war was photography. It wasn’t my job — just a hobby I deeply loved. I used my camera to capture moments of life, beauty, and even pain here in Gaza. Sadly, all of my equipment was destroyed during the bombings. It may seem like a small thing, but photography was my way to express myself, to hold on to hope, and to connect with the world.
Now, I’m asking for your help and support so I can provide for my family’s basic needs. Donations will go toward:
* Food and clean water
* Medicine and medical care
* Daily essentials like clothing and hygiene supplies
* And if possible in the future, replacing some of my photography gear so I can return to the hobby I love and continue sharing our story
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference in our lives. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help. Your support means the world to us.
With heartfelt thanks and gratitude,
Saeed”
