Help Me Escape a Toxic, Unaccepting Home ️
⸻
Hi, I go by the name Aidan, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the most overwhelming times in my life.
I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community currently living in a household that is emotionally toxic and deeply unaccepting of who I am. It’s been years of walking on eggshells, hiding parts of myself, and carrying the heavy toll this has taken on my mental and physical health. Lately, it’s only gotten worse—and I’ve realized I can’t keep surviving in this environment.
I work full-time as a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been doing everything I can to make ends meet. But the job market is rough, and stable employment is harder to find than ever. Despite how hard I’ve been trying, it’s simply not enough to cover the cost of moving out and starting fresh. I’m at a breaking point. Everything has become too much for me to handle alone.
I’m asking for $5,000 to help me leave this toxic home and give myself a real shot at stability and healing. Your support will help me cover:
• Rent & security deposit (1–2 months) – $2,000
• Moving costs & transportation – $500
•️ Basic living supplies (food, toiletries, bedding, etc.) – $500
• Emergency cushion for bills & stability while I transition – $2,000
This isn’t about luxury. This is about safety, peace, and survival. I need a chance to exist in a space where I’m not constantly in fight-or-flight mode, where I can finally start healing and building something better for myself.
Even if you can’t donate, simply sharing this page or leaving words of encouragement makes a world of difference. I’m doing everything I can—but I’ve reached the limit of what I can carry alone. Thank you for helping me find my way out.
With love and hope,
Aidan
