My name is Martin, and I live with my girlfriend, Shana Crosby, in our fifth-wheel trailer on someone else’s property. After surviving a devastating fire explosion that left us both hospitalized for months, we’ve been working hard to rebuild our lives. The recovery has been tough, both physically and financially, and we’re still facing daily challenges as we try to get back on our feet.
Currently, we have no running water or electricity in our trailer. We pay someone to haul in water for us, and while we make do, it’s a constant struggle. Our location is perfect for solar power, but we don’t have the resources to install a system ourselves. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward setting up solar panels and improving our water access, which would make a huge difference in our daily lives and help us regain some stability and independence.
