Hello, my name is Jordan. I am 26 years old. Today, I am coming to fundraiser for the first time. I’m an honest person and I really never ask for help, but this time we do and I hate saying that.
We have a car that has been down for the last 4 months and it so happens to be our only car. We’ve been in real rough waters trying to find a way to get it fixed but with no luck. I am exhausted out of ideas. I work a full-time job, and I have a burning passion to make sure my family has what they need, even if I go without.
The car in the picture is our 2009 Jaguar XF. I am trying to build up enough money to get the car out of the shop it’s currently at and put a new/used engine in it, as we can’t afford to go to the dealership or any car lot without having to put down at least $4,000 on a vehicle.
We were screwed over by our extended warranty company that said they would pay to put a new engine in it, but the claim was denied. So, I am stuck with the bill from the shop, which is $708.00. That’s just for the things they did to the car like diagnostic and battery replacement. So, in the end, we were stuck with what they’ve done so far. The engine replacement was declined, so my car is still in a non-running state and we are having to borrow other vehicles from people.
I’m asking to help me and my family raise enough money to get our car back to its original running state so we can go on about our lives. I hope everyone is doing well and I hope this message finds you well. Thank you for being who you are and helping people in need.
