Hello, my name is Jason Parker and I live in Aurora, Colorado. Over the past year I’ve been on a personal journey to reclaim my health through the education of food and I’m made a commitment to myself to eat a higher quality diet. My journey has led me to meeting a local beekeeper named Heather Krueger and it’s for her that I’m setting up this fundraiser donation drive. Heather is a wife, mother, beekeeper, organic soap maker, chicken raiser but most of all she is a wonderful human being who cares about the community she lives in and is trying to feed that community with high quality honey from her hives and fresh eggs. In addition she sells products she makes herself such as goats milk and honey soaps, beeswax candles and various small handcrafted items. About a year ago tragedy struck her family and she suffered the loss of her 20 year old son. Searching for a way to fill the void in her life and the inability to afford a proper head stone for her beloved son is what began her journey into beekeeping, soap making and all the other various things she crafts. She takes the proceeds she makes from the sales and puts them aside as a fund to give her son the headstone she feels he disserves. This is difficult for her because she has 4 beautiful children to still raise so I’m turning to you for help. The headstone she wants is only $2,200 but I’ve set the goal for this fundraiser at $5,000. The reason I’ve set it at that amount is so that the extra money can go to help support her family, help her afford the additional supplies she needs to keep her newly created small business thriving and to help support her family as they continue to grieve the loss of one of their own. With your help I know we can reach this goal!! I also know that times are tough and money is tight so please know that I appreciate anything you’re able to donate and if you’re not able to donate I ask that you continue to share this fundraiser so we can reach a wider audience. And if you can say a prayer for her and her family that will help too. I thank you so much for your support and taking the time to read this. May god bless your lives and the family of Heather Krueger.
