My mom, Edilberta Ramírez Rabadan, has always been an outgoing person who loves to help others in need. She’s the kind of person who would go out of her way to support friends, family, and even strangers. Seeing her unable to do the things she loves has been truly devastating for our family.
A few years ago, she suffered a fall that led to severe arthritis in her knee. Now, she can hardly walk and is unable to work or manage most of her daily tasks. Her independence and spirit have been deeply affected, and it’s heartbreaking to watch her struggle with pain every day.
We’re turning to fundraiser because her insurance won’t cover the knee replacement surgery she urgently needs, considering it not urgent. Without this surgery, her condition will only worsen. After the operation, she’ll also need physical therapy to regain her mobility and independence. Any support will go directly toward her surgery, therapy, and recovery, helping her get back to the life she loves and the people she cares for.
