My name is Bryan, I am 37 years old, and live in Kokomo, Indiana. A year and a half ago, I was in a mentally abusive relationship that caused me problems emotionally and financially. It took all I had to escape from the relationship I was in, where I was used and taken advantage of. Because of everything I was put through, my credit is suffering and obtaining a loan is nearly impossible for me as I am trying hard to get myself financially stable again.
I am in desperate need of either funds to have a new engine put in my car, a good amount of money for a down payment on a used car, or money to buy one outright (a picture of one I found included). The other day, the rain that came in flooded the streets of Kokomo, and that’s when my car got caught in the mess and became submerged in deep rainwater. My car is a 2003 Saturn Ion, and since my car is so old, my insurance will not cover it. My engine is now full of water (picture included) and hydro-locked, and I just found out I will need a whole new engine put in. I don’t have the money to have my car repaired, and to even put an engine in will cost more than my 2003 Saturn Ion is worth.
I need a vehicle for not only work, but I don’t want to become a burden to my family and friends who I will need rides from. I also don’t live in town so public transportation won’t come out to pick me up. I have important appointments I must be at, amongst work and other things transportation is a must for. I am not one to ask for help, but this is an unforeseen emergency that I was not prepared for. I am praying for a miracle, and if I can get the help I need during this trying time, when I am able, I will pay it forward by helping someone else in need. Thank you to everyone for understanding.
