Hi! I’m a life long friend of the family and I’m helping Brandon’s mom (Sandy Johns Walker) create this fundraiser for her son, Brandon. He needs our help now more than ever. He has had a rough time medically and could use our help in his time of need. He has a heart of gold and would do anything for his friends and family, and it’s our turn to help him.

Back in 2013, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and beat all of the odds. After having his bladder rebuilt, he won! He beat cancer! Unfortunately, after having his bladder rebuilt, it caused extensive damage to his kidneys that have continuously caused him issues and numerous infections over the years. These infections have caused him to fight sepsis numerous times. These numerous infections have caused damage to his body, mostly to his heart.

He has had several heart attacks over the past few years, ultimately culminating in him having to have triple bypass surgery with a valve replacement this past January. Recovery has been brutal, and he has been unable to work, resulting in mounting bills. I know he would be forever grateful if we could come together as a community to help ease the load that he has to worry about and take some of the financial pressure off of his shoulders so that he can rest and recover from all that his body and soul have been through.
