My name is Alex Bright. I lived at this apartment but it has burned down due to a kitchen fire that started when I wasn’t home.
In my room I had 2 gaming PCs, my safe, clothes, graduation gown, prom suit, and everything I have ever owned. Everything I had is now gone and I need help getting started again.
In the rest of the apartment was food in the kitchen, a living room with a couch and some toys for my roommate’s daughter, her bedroom and everything she ever owned too. Along with that were 4 pets that passed away in the fire. A dog, 2 cats, and a 4 week old kitten. We just got that kitten 2 days ago.
Any money donated will go to me and my roomate so we can both get a start again. We both need rent money, clothes, food, a bed, gas money, car payment money, ect. I hope I can get enough to even afford a new gaming PC but that’s the least of my concern really.
The fire was started from an outlet in the kitchen right above the sink that was not a GFCI outlet. The outlet was plugged into a croc pot by my roomate followed by her leaving the apartment and coming back to flames.
I am going to need some help getting on my feet again but I am not homeless and I will survive. That being said only donate if you can and have the spare money. Don’t go broke trying to help me as I have friends and family that will help too. Thank you everyone for being there for me.
