Hello. I am a single mother, living on a fixed income from Social Security Disability. I have a 13-year-old daughter. We live in North Central Alabama. We have no family here. Recently, my HVAC unit has stopped blowing cold air. I have been told it could cost anywhere from $500 – $10,000 to repair, depending on the problem. I don’t have the extra money in my budget to pay for this. It is miserably hot in my home, and summer is just getting started.
