Dear friends and family,
We are reaching out on behalf of Christina, who—as many of you know—is a devoted wife, a loving mother to an adorable 2-year-old girl, and an amazing friend to so many. Christina is a God-fearing woman, always eager to pray for others, speak words of encouragement, and show up with love and support—no matter what she may be going through personally.
What has transpired over the last few weeks has been heartbreaking and difficult to witness. After experiencing stomach pain and fainting, Christina was rushed to the ER. Following weeks of testing and biopsies, she went from being a young, healthy wife and mom to receiving a devastating diagnosis: Stage IV colon cancer that has metastasized to her liver, small bowel, and lymph nodes.
Determined to fight for her life, Christina has traveled across the country seeking out top specialists. Despite receiving discouraging prognoses and offers of palliative care only, she refused to give up. Through relentless pursuit and unwavering faith, she has found an integrative oncologist who is committed to fighting alongside her—for a full recovery and the long life we are all praying and believing for.
Christina now faces an unimaginable battle—not just for herself, but for her family who depends on her every single day.
Her treatment plan involves aggressive, specialized care not available locally. It requires frequent travel to another state, along with temporary lodging and extended time away from work. To make matters more difficult, the treatment plan advocated by her care team is not covered by her current insurance, adding significantly to the financial burden. The combination of uncovered medical expenses, travel costs, and lost income is overwhelming for the family.
We don’t want anything to stand in the way of Christina getting the best care possible. We want her to focus entirely on healing and spending time with her loved ones—without the burden of financial stress.
