So my “emergency” is getting a reliable vehicle to get to my jobs.

I typically don’t ask for much, but my old 2004 jalopy is currently beyond repair and I really need a new (well, probably not new) vehicle.

It leaks oil and – the final straw last week was that a belt broke.

In the past couple of years, I’ve put several thousands of dollars into this thing, trying to chase down one problem after the next – and just can’t put any more money, time, or energy into it.

I also can’t miss any more work because it’s always got issues.

I’m a self-employed freelance gardener for a few private homes in the area and right now I need a little boost to get a reliable vehicle that I’m not consistently dumping all of my money into.

Simply put, I’m looking to buy a reasonably priced small SUV or small to mid-sized pickup truck so that I can resume business as usual.

Any help to get back on the road is appreciated.
