Hi, my name is Jonathan, and I’m fundraising for my cousin. Here’s her story:
DANIELLA HAS CHOSEN LIFE – NOW LET’S HELP HER LIVE IT
Daniella is a giver.
For 11 years, she’s fought metastatic breast cancer while running a business, raising children, helping her elderly parents, and coaching other women through their own cancer journeys.
She’s given her heart to her clients, strength to her friends, and endless love to her children — and most of all, to her granddaughter.
“I chose life because of her,” Daniella says, speaking of the little girl who was placed in her arms the day she was born. “There hasn’t been a day since that I haven’t seen her. She literally grew up resting her head against my bandaged chest, where my breast used to be. She gave me life.”
But now Daniella needs our help to keep choosing life.
The Only Drug That Could Help is out of reach.
Daniella has exhausted every medical option available through Israel’s public healthcare system: chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy, surgeries — none of them worked. She has an aggressive ESR1 mutation that makes her cancer resistant to standard treatments.
There is one drug that offers hope – a cutting-edge medication developed specifically for women like Daniella. It costs over ₪45,000 a month — and it’s not covered by Israel’s healthcare system. Daniella was told she’s “not sick enough” to qualify for subsidized emergency support.
Despite the constant pain, fear, and heartbreak, Daniella wakes up every morning, puts on her gym shoes, and lifts weights – just to stay strong. She keeps working with clients when she can, because she needs the income and she loves her clients. Now she needs us.
We urgently need ₪1,000,000 to cover two years treatment of this life-saving treatment. This is a huge sum. But with enough people: friends, friends-of-friends, people who have been helped by Daniella or simply inspired by her story – we can do it!
Because Daniella deserves life. Her children deserve a mother. Her granddaughter deserves her “savta.” The world deserves more of Daniella’s light.
“I’ve Always Got a Smile on My Face” Daniella says. Even through tears, she smiles.
She believes in life. Let’s believe in her.
