Casie Needs Help After Partner’s Sudden Death

We’re raising funds to support our dear friend Casie Lucas, as she navigates a heartbreaking and life-altering moment. Casie recently lost her life partner, Brian Quain. Brian had been quietly struggling with depression and had just begun to come to terms with a recent neurodivergent diagnosis. His passing has left all who loved him in deep shock and grief. As you can imagine, Casie was blindsided. Not only by his passing, but by the financial hardship he had been carrying alone.

In the wake of this tragedy, Casie is facing immediate eviction and has been left solely responsible for bills and expenses she never expected. On top of losing her partner, she is now trying to hold everything together for herself and their beloved pets (many of whom are elderly and require ongoing medication and care).

Casie is grieving, in an expected crisis, and urgently needs help to stay afloat. If you’re able, please donate or share this link. Every bit of support means the world right now. Her phone has already been shut off (we were able to restore service today), and time is running out to secure housing and stability. She urgently needs support to cover housing, veterinary care, basic living expenses, and to begin rebuilding after this profound loss.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps provide her with a lifeline right now. If you’re not in a place to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others who might be able to.

Thank you for your compassion, your generosity, and your support during this incredibly difficult time.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
