Hi — I’m staying anonymous for my safety, but I’m sharing my story because I need help. I’m in a toxic, emotionally abusive relationship with someone who has isolated me, broken me down, and made it nearly impossible for me to leave on my own.
He’s a narcissist who cheats and lies — but the second I stand up for myself or even try to mirror his actions, he becomes enraged. He’s broken things I paid for with my own money, punished me emotionally, and keeps me trapped by controlling the one thing that could set me free: the car.
I’ve been moved away from my family and support system, and while I wish it were as easy as “just going home,” it’s not. I’ve built a life here — I have a job, responsibilities, and roots that I can’t just walk away from. But without a car of my own, I can’t safely leave or support myself.
I’m raising money to buy a reliable vehicle so I can reclaim my independence, protect my safety, and start fresh. A car isn’t just transportation — it’s my only path to freedom and stability.
If you’re able to donate, thank you. If you can’t, please consider sharing this. I know I’m not the only one who’s ever felt stuck like this, and even one share could connect me to the help I need.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your support — in any form — means more than you know.
With gratitude,
