These last few weeks have been pretty hard for me and my family, and as hard as I work and Adam works, we are at a point in our lives where we feel very lost and are struggling to stay above water. As many of you know, we just had a baby girl in March, and her name is Alaska. She started off as trouble and came about a month early, making me lose 4 weeks of work pay. After I had our baby, I went to the hospital for heart failure and gained a hearty amount of hospital bills. After I finally went back to work a few weeks ago, I had to leave to have surgery on my hand as I could not properly even hold my baby. Shortly after my hand surgery, my fiancé Adam got laid off from his job as they could no longer pay him with how slow it has been. My new car that I bought last year is breaking down with a faulty head gasket.
I have gone back to work full-time sooner than I’d like after having my baby girl and trying my hardest to keep us above while my fiancé searches for a new job, but with how our lives have been playing out, we were a little behind and now with this rut in the road, we are more than a little behind.
