This is my daughter’s cat, Greyson. She got him for Christmas when she was 5, and she is now 9. He is her best friend, and she is devastated right now thinking she is going to lose her kitty. He is an indoor cat only, so he never goes outside or is around any other animals. He’s the only animal that we have. He has had all of his shots, including his rabies vaccine, and he has been a very healthy animal up until this point. He is almost 4 years old and has the most loving, affectionate, playful, and silliest personality.
Recently, he started going to the litter box very frequently. Then he started using the bathroom outside of the litter box, and I noticed that he would be meowing while he was trying to go. Plus, I noticed that he wasn’t eating his food either, so I took him to the vet. After spending $350, I found out that he has bladder stones and he has to have surgery to have them removed because these bladder stones are too big to come out on their own. After getting the estimate for the surgery, it’s going to be about $1500.
This could not have happened at a worse time because I am dealing with my own medical issues, so funds are tight right now. This isn’t a matter that I can just save my money and get it in the future; he needs surgery now. Until he gets these out, he will continue to be uncomfortable and in pain. So please, anything can help, even if it’s just to share this post so more people can see it. Please and thank you.
