A dear friend of mine has suffered the greatest tragedy a mother can endure. A nightmare come to life. She lost her son. Her baby. Her purpose. Unfortunately, when faced with such a horrific loss it is accompanied by unforeseen expenses. Expenses she can’t even begin to cover and things she shouldn’t have to stress about in this time of ultimate grief. Such as paying for her sons’ cremation and remains. The funeral home will not return him to her until all fees are paid in full. Charges are in excess of $50-75.00 a day for storing his body until she is able to pay for just the cremation which is $1000.00. All she wants is to be able to bring her baby home. Being that she is doing this all alone and has no other family to turn to for support this has proven to be an obstacle she cannot overcome on her own. This is why I am setting up this account on her behalf to try and lighten her unimaginable burden. As if grieving for her child isn’t enough, and it is definitely enough to overwhelm even the strongest person. I felt compelled to action, and this is what I came up with that is capable of producing immediate results. Even if it is only monetarily, it is one less thing my friends already broken heart will have to ache over. So, I implore you, whether you are a father, a mother, or neither try to put yourself in Sylvias shoes for just a moment.
