Hi, my name is Ashley and I am raising money to bury my father, Silas, who unexpectedly passed away this morning. He was disabled and lived on a fixed income and couldn’t afford life insurance.

Unfortunately, by the time I was of age to really understand and grasp the idea of how finite life is and that tomorrow is never promised to us, he had already had a massive heart attack and had to have open-heart surgery. We could not find insurance that would cover him after that. I have been out of work myself due to health issues and just started back to work 2 weeks ago, so any savings I had went to support myself and my children during that time that I was out of work.
