Our family is heartbroken by the unexpected loss of my sister, Kelly Roberson. Kelly was a force of nature—warm, loving, charismatic, wild, and adventurous. She never met a stranger and spread laughter, kindness, and energy. Kelly was a single mom of two teenage daughters who inherited her strength, humor, and loving spirit. She did everything with love and compassion, always with her girls in her mind and her heart. Kelly gave love freely to everyone around her.
Kelly’s passing has left a hole in our lives. Honoring her last wishes, we donated her organs and tissues to help others, a final act of generosity that embodied Kelly. Kelly was her daughters’ champion and she died a hero. My parents will continue raising Jade and Joslin, ensuring they have the love and support they need. Our family is focused on giving Kelly a farewell she deserves and supporting her daughters.
We are not comfortable with asking for anything, we are a hard-working family. But our Faith encourages us to sacrifice pride for humility. These are hard, uncomfortable times. We are overwhelmed by your love and support. Some have asked, and we’re willing to accept donations in the memory of Kelly’s caring, giving soul to cover Kelly’s cremation/funeral expenses, celebration of life, and support for Jade and Joslin. We want to give Kelly’s love the opportunity to provide for their future education, and help them pursue the bright futures Kelly dreamed of for them. Kelly was Music: some heard Country, some heard Rap/Hip-Hop, some Metal, but personally, I always heard Rock&Roll. Kelly’s absence has left a deafening silence. Kelly loved God, nature, family, and her friends—she was the beauty of life, and her spirit will live on in her daughters. Any support will help us honor Kelly’s memory and give Jade and Joslin the care and opportunities they deserve. Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
