On the morning of June 13, 2025, Janill Tineo was tragically struck by a car while crossing the street on her way to work. Despite every effort, she passed away in less than 24 hours; leaving behind her 7-year-old daughter and a family devastated by this sudden and unimaginable loss.
Janill was full of light, kindness, and promise. A devoted mother, a loving daughter, and a beautiful soul, she was just beginning to build a future for herself and her child. Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of everyone who knew her.
In the wake of this tragedy, her mother Adriana, who has always cared for others with quiet strength and compassion, is now stepping forward to raise her granddaughter while mourning the loss of her own daughter.
Adriana’s work family and community have come together asking how they can help; because anyone who knows her knows just how deeply she gives to those around her. She has supported so many of us through difficult moments. Now it is our turn to surround her with love and care.
This fundraiser has been created to offer meaningful, practical support during this heartbreaking time.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
The care, stability, and well-being of Janill’s 7-year-old daughter
Emotional and mental health services for the family
Giving Adriana space to grieve without added financial pressure
Covering any unexpected expenses during this transition
No donation is too small. Every gesture of support, whether through a contribution or by sharing this page – makes a difference.
Let’s come together for Adriana and her family the way they’ve shown up for so many of us. Let’s help carry them through with love, respect, and compassion.
With heartfelt thanks,
Her friends, coworkers, and extended community
